In the next Senwes Scenario

In the winter months you can look forward to an edition which focuses on animal health and feed. In the previous edition our focus area was East London, but this time we focus on Wolmaransstad which boasts a brand new branch, a stone’s throw away from the old branch. We did however not forget about the branches in the Eastern Cape with the official opening of the branches in the Eastern Cape, Aliwal North, Ugie and East London, which took place in May.

The producer we focus on in Wolmaransstad is Buks van Wyk as he discusses his farming operations which focuses 50% on diamond prospecting. We also paid a visit to Pini Jan Kgosimore and Sophie Dikeledi Mabaso on their farm Mafabatho in Wesselsbron who, thanks to their association with Senwes, have managed to turn their farm around.

After the latest instalment of Nation in Conversation where we focused on Taaibosch Piggery, this time owners CP and Gerda Kriek gives us more info about the industry in general.

The hunting article of Jan-Lodewyk Serfontein is an old favourite and in this edition he gives us a few hints on how to avoid just some of the ghosts which can haunt you during hunting season.

Hansie Swanepoel from Senwes Grainlink and Frans Dreyer, Manager Senwes Grain Brokerage also give their valuable contributions with the group executive of Innovation and Integrated Solutions, Martin van Zyl looking at solving livestock challenges through precision solutions – these are just some of the articles Scenario readers can look forward to.

For this and many more interesting articles, lookout for the next edition of Senwes Scenario, which you will receive in June. If you haven’t signed in as yet, please visit the following link http://www.scenario.co.za/en-ZA/subscribe
