North West University Precision Farming Congress 2019




Farmers, agricultural scientists, agri-businesses and students are invited to attend this event which will deal with the latest developments and applications in agriculture. The topics to be presented are: the economics of precision farming, precision farming in practice, climate outlook, agricultural economic outlook and regenerative farming. 

Farmers involved in precision farming with grain, livestock and fresh produce will be in attendance to share their experiences, while suppliers in latest instrumentation and technology will exhibit their products. 

The congress coincides with the beginning of two agricultural degrees presented on the Potchefstroom campus in 2019: BSc (Agric) in Agricultural Economics and Agronomy as well as BSc (Agric) in Agronomy and Soil Science.
