Prof Willemse discusses the impact of foot and mouth disease on 1 February in Bloemfontein

RSVP before January 28, 2019

South Africa lost its status after the disease was observed in cattle in Limpopo in January 2019. The government admitted on January 7, 2019, that foot-and-mouth disease was found in Vhembe in animals.

The impact of foot-and-mouth disease is one of the topics that agricultural economist Prof Johan Willemse will address on 1 February 2019 at a workshop on agricultural market prospects in Bloemfontein. Willemse will also focus on price and crop prospects at his first quarterly workshop in 2019 in the Biker’s Church.

Furthermore, he will share his knowledge on the latest grain, livestock and economic prospects. A light lunch will also be provided.
