Senwes adds Falcon to its input offer

Falcon, which was established in 1985, focuses primarily on the agricultural sector and distributes products country-wide via approximately 350 authorised dealers, while exports are also being done to a further twelve African countries. This input business, with its offices in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, is modelled on traditional values with a high regard for effective service delivery, and is the largest supplier of rotary cutters in Africa.

Falcon's managing director will remain unchanged for the next twelve to fifteen months in order to ensure that the transition takes place as smoothly as possible. Staff, the company's vision and business operations relating to suppliers, traders and end consumers will continue normally, on the same successful basis as over the past 34 years. “We are convinced that this new association with Senwes will unlock enormous potential", Managing Director Steve Thurtell added.

The addition to the Senwes Equipment stall symbolises Senwes' strategy to grow and to diversify by means of consolidation and integration in the agricultural and food value chain and unlocks new markets by means of the extensive equipment solutions to be offered by Senwes Equipment in future.

Senwes Equipment is an agricultural equipment and services partner and offers mechanisation and maintenance solutions to producers. Senwes Equipment is also the exclusive John Deere agent in central South Africa and proud JCB-agent. JD Implemente, the subsidiary with the Tomlinson family, further enables Senwes Equipment to expand its market share to the Western and Eastern Cape while Staalmeester, the subsidiary with the Coetzee family, expands the Senwes Equipment offer by means of the manufacturing and importing of agricultural equipment for small and medium-sized producers.
