Suppliers enjoyed a relaxed day of golf, taking in the breathtaking views and enjoying the sunshine. Several of the holes were sponsored by suppliers and off-course there was food and drink aplenty to quench thirsty throats and rumbling tummies.
The day ended off on winning note at the renowned Seafood Restaurant, De Vette Mossel in Parys. Each and every participant received a goody bag for their achievements on the course, whether it was for the longest drive, or the worst shot, nobody walked away empty handed. However, the big winner of the day was Rata Social Services, a local charity for children in need, who received a cheque for R70 000 followed by more donations raised at the prize giving during an impromptu auction, which took the total donation to this charity to over R100 000!
