In the next Senwes Scenario

This autumn edition offers a number of articles, particularly for the agri-connoisseur. In our area focus the spotlight is on East London, where Senwes Equipment is one of the latest additions to the city. In order to create a balance between new and established Senwes areas, the small Northwest town of Hartbeesfontein is also on the menu, on the other end of the scale.

We read about a number of producers, with focus on the Gratz brothers in the Eastern Cape, who tell us about their dairy farm and their relationship with Senwes Equipment and John Deere. Isaac Kagiso Mokhatlha tells us about his move from the SAPS to farming and we visit lavender producers Trudy and Rina Kasselman, where they farm between Klerksdorp and Wolmaransstad. They tell us more about their blue-gold world.

The regular hunting article by Jan-Lodewyk Serfontein is an old favourite which we retained, while Hansie Swanepoel took over from Thys Grobbelaar in Grain Market Prospects - these are but a few of the things that you can look forward to.

Being autumn, we read about harvesting efficiency, trough management in feedlots and our group executive of Innovation and Integrated Solutions, Martin van Zyl, shares his insight on digital bites per hectare with us.
