Senwes Group CE, Francois Strydom says, in South Africa the same crop is planted on a long-term basis. This ineffective crop rotation and South Africa’s approach to diversification of crops has been neglected for too long.

Continued single crop cultivation has resulted in crop diseases, pests and plagues. It also influences the soil health and has resulted South Africa still having to import large quantities of certain commodities
